Ana Galvão is Senior Lecturer at the Department of Economics of Queen Mary, University of London. She was previously a research economist at the Bank of Portugal (2006). She was also an Assistant Professor at Ibmec São Paulo (2002-2005) and a Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute (2001-2002). Her research interests are on empirical macroeconomics, forecasting and nonlinear time series models. Some of her papers have been published in the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, Journal of Applied Econometrics, Journal of Empirical Finance and International Journal of Forecasting. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Warwick (2002).
