  1. Could you remind me of my personal web space web address, connection details etc?
Yes - follow this link for a reminder of your web space address and other details
  2. How much web space am I allowed?
You are initially allocated 50MB of space. If you require more storage space please email Computing Services Helpdesk <css-helpdesk@qmul.ac.uk>
  3. Can I change the web address?
We can't change the domain name (i.e. webspace.qmul.ac.uk) but we can change the directory part that comes after the domain. Please email Computing Services Helpdesk<css-helpdesk@qmul.ac.uk> telling us what directory name you would like
  4. How do I move my web pages/files from 'alpha' (e.g. http://alpha.qmul.ac.uk/~abc0123/) to 'webspace' (e.g. http://webspace.qmul.ac.uk/jblogs/)?
The simpliest way is to use FTP to copy, or 'download', them from the public_html directory on alpha to your desktop computer. Then use FTP to copy, or 'upload', the same files to the webspace server. You don't need to create a public_html folder on webspace. Just put your web pages and files directly inside your host directory
