The Healthy Environments Research
Programme is based in the School of Geography
at Queen Mary,
University of London. The School is internationally recognized as a world-leading centre of excellence for research and is currently ranked 1st in the UK for the quality of it's work (RAE 2008). Since 2001 programme
members have won over £10 million
of collaborative research funding.
The programme has expertise in quantitative and qualitative methods including GIS, multi-level modelling, growth curve modelling, spatial micro-simulation, interviewing, focus-groups, ethnography, demography and bayesian analysis.
