Molecular vs. Morphological data results.

These results were generated using the Perl scripts available below, using data from TreeBase. The data consists of the 50 most recent morphological and 50 most recent molecular datasets available in TreeBase when the database was queried by Alexandra Wortley, for her work decribed in this paper, except that i've dropped one of the molecular datasets, which consisted of AFLP data rather than sequence data.

These scripts should read Nexus-format data files and output the tables above.. the two versions differ in that the molecuar script is "aware" of some IUPAC ambiguity codes, although maybe not all. I've made no attempt to write these as general-purpose tools that will work on any input file, so there's no guarantee that they'll perform on your data, i'm afraid.
