Work in the Grey Lab focuses primarily on using stable isotope analyses to answer questions in aquatic ecology, notably:
- Methane-derived carbon and its role in food webs
- Impacts of invasive species
- Ecosystem subsidies
- Dietary specialisation
- Other isotope tracer studies
My research is funded by the Natural Environment Research Council, the Environment Agency, and the British Ecological Society
