Welcome to the webpages of Dr. John Viles, Senior Lecturer in Biochemistry in the School of Biological Sciences at Queen Mary, University of London.

The Viles Group is a biomolecular spectroscopy research group and the focus of our research is the structure, dynamics and metal binding properties of amyloidogenic proteins, PrP (Prion protein) and A-beta (Amyloid-beta) that are implicated in neurodegenerative disease.

Dr. John Viles is located in room 4.23 of the Biology building and the
Viles Group are located in room 4.29. The Viles Group research lab is located in room 4.16.
